Overview
STEP 1 - ENTERING
If you've just come through sign-up, you're already entered... otherwise click ENTER NOW in the control bar. So far, so good, but there's much more to do.
STEP 2 - SHOWING OFF YOUR ANTICS
You're going to need a video that shows off your best rock guitar antics. If you've already got something that fits the bill, great, otherwise you're going to have to record something special. It can be as simple as you, sitting in your room, wailing on your ax while making those silly faces John Mayer is so fond… or doing some sweet ass jumps on stage with a band. You can play a whole, original song, or just a few riffs, whatever you think is best, so long as we can see the rock n' roll showmanship!
STEP 3 - UPLOADING YOUR WORK
It's pretty easy actually, just click UPLOAD MEDIA in the control panel on your right. It'll walk you through the process from there.
STEP 4 - GETTING IT INTO THE HEAD-TO-HEAD PLAYER
Now that you've uploaded your clip, click SELECT MEDIA in the control bar at the top, to let the system know that's the clip you want in the competition and you're good to go!
STEP 5 - CHECKING THE MAIN COMPETITION PAGE
The direct address is http://tricks.musicnation.com , or you could click the TRICKS OF THE TRADE logo at the very top left of your screen, but we'll also link to it from the htp://musicnation.com homepage. From there, once it's open, you can check out the Head-2-Head player and the standings.
