Formed in November of 2005, Blistur has come together in a whirlwind to create one of the most in demand bands in the Southeastern United States. In an incredible short 12 months, the Jacksonville, FL based group has already compiled close to 30 original songs and played some of the largest stages in the area including Metropolitan Park, headlining the Florida Georgia Concert, The ACC Championship and New Years Eve/Gator Bowl celebrations at the Jacksonville Landing, Freebird Live (www.freebirdlive.com) and the Florida Theatre (www.floridatheatre.com). They also traveled to the Caribbean island of St. Maarten to perform a concert in January 2007. Their debut CD entitled "Before There Were Seasons" was released on February 14, 2007 and is receiving immediate airplay on Island 92 radio in St. Maarten and 3 sister stations on the nearby islands of St. Kitts, Anguilla and St. Barts. Follow up concerts are on the horizon there, along with plans to play other large events such as “Locobazooka” in Massachussets, Planetfest in Jacksonville, FL and other giant events around the country, sharing the stage with rock’s hottest acts and moving upward and forward at a "Blisturing" pace.
