The Brainbell Janglers are a four-piece rock and roll and blues band from Corning, New York. They are widely known for their high-energy live performances. They can be found packing bars and clubs two to three times a week throughout the Southern Tier of New York and the Northern Tier of Pennsylvania. Since their inaugural gig on February 3rd, 2001, The Brainbell Janglers have performed almost 800 shows, including opening for national (and international) touring acts such as Blues Traveler,Blue Oyster Cult, Vanilla Fudge, Indigenous, The X-Brothers, The Naked Beggers, and Hells Bells: an AC/DC Tribute. Their live shows are comprised of an eclectic mix of electrifying original blues and rock and roll and a wide variety of cover songs with the Janglers' own added flavor. They have a knack for tackling the rare songs that not many others dare to attempt. Just attending one Brainbell Janglers gig makes this entirely clear! To their acclaim, the Brainbell Janglers have also been very successful in local music competitions. In April 2002, they placed FIRST out of 27 completely original music acts throughout the Southern Tier of New York at the Spring Sprawl Music Festival. They also did the same in August 2002 when they competed at the WNGZ 104.9 Battle of the Bands in Tioga, Pennsylvania. In early 2003, The Brainbell Janglers released their first all original material CD, "Ageless." This CD was met with critical acclaim locally and has sold a 1000 copies at gigs and online to date.Ageless is now sold out!Get a copy of our new live cd Burnin alive down at the Riverview at a gig near you.

Yo...here is a new collaboration between myself and Robert Tiernan that you might find interesting. It is an instrumental duet with myself on acoustic guitar and Robert playing a one of a kind instrument he built from spare parts called a Sit-Jo (part Banjo and Sitar) called "Monkeys Fly". I think you will enjoy it!http://musicnation.com/music/roberttiernan/monkeys-fly-by-mark-alan-dooley-with-sit-jo-track

Congrats to "Rantings of Eva"!!!I also wanna say congrats to everyone in this comp for getting heard and getting the recognition that you all deserve. I know I at times displayed my emotions in ways that was not cool. But it's all in the growing up department, and we all evolved from this. Just keep keeping it real, and we will once again (soon I hope), be side by side in our quest for success and being HEARD! Here's another idea for being heard! There's a new page on MN called "Collaboration Nation" for the listing of music that are collabs between 2 or more artists on MN. It's not just there you can be heard, but if you collaborate with other artists in other genres, then your limitations to which contests you can enter just opened up to an endless selection. Use whatever you can to BE HEARD!!!!! http://musicnation.com/music/mncollabs I love you all to DEATH! LSD

Nice stuff, guys. Especially “Lessons.” That kind of dirty guitar riff and unhinged vocal always appeal to me. I like the ’60s psych on the other tracks as well. There’s nothing new here, but you guys certainly do it well.
