Music Nation is a Music Video Competition for Independent Artists

Growing up listening to a lot of dance music for example the song "Jump" by Kriss Kross, and ATL songs by Dem Franchize Boys, 5-Star, born Brandon Jackson, has a heart and soul filled with music. With him coming from a very musical family, he always knew his outlet in life would be music. Star started rapping at age seven where he began to write his own raps about anything that was currently going on. "I used to write songs about my life and how things were in that certain point in time" says Star. As he was growing he grew fond of R&B music like Michael Jackson, Usher, and Shaggy. "Actually, I sang before I started to rap so I always followed Michael Jackson because of his flare and style". Years passed as he started to get affiliated with gangs, weapons, and drugs."I used to sell weed at school, around the neighborhood and all and thats how i made my money". Years have passed and he's now a young man with one simple goal. TO BE THE BEST. "My name simbolizes being the best"
