Music Nation is a Music Video Competition for Independent Artists

My name is Bree Stevens. I was born in Oklahoma and I now live in Brownsville, Texas. I've been singing as long as I can remember. I've always had a passion for music and my family and friends encouraged me to get the ball rolling on a music career. They convinced me it's never too young to start, so I did. Just before my 16th birthday in 2006, I decided that music is what I want to do for a living; music is what I have to do. I can't do anything else; I wouldn't be happy doing anything else. So with my parents help we had auditions for musicians and I've been singing in the Rio Grande Valley ever since meeting lots of great people and practicing my performance skills. I front a five piece band of seasoned musicians which I named STRAIGHT FORWARD - the oldest is 53, the youngest is me, 16. I've recently tried my hand at writing music which has been an interesting journey - some songs come very easy - some I've been working on for over a year. It's always educational. I think I'm learning more about myself than I really want to know! I love music, I love performing! It has become part of who I am. Thank you for letting my share my music with you.
