He Washed Me White As Snow

Video Description:

Have you ever wondered how rough it can get when a family band is trying to learn their own God-inspired songs, and it seems like every song they write is a brand new style they've never played before? Welcome to our world. We are Bridging The Gap Gospel Band: Southern Gospel, Christian Rock, Modern Worship, Christian R&B, Jesus Blues, Spiritual Rap, Christian Rockabilly, Christian Western Swing, and a big helping of CHRISTIAN ET CETERA. Honestly, Poeple, I don't have ANY idea what kind of a song we might come up with next. It started out this way for us when we were involved in a band called Eastern Sky back in the 90's. We still play with some of the surviving members of that band when we get the chance.... Well, anyway, this song is one my wife is trying to finish writing, and my sons and I are trying to learn to play it. God help me, if I can just finish learning the licks you hear in this song, and a few more (lead guitar has not really come natural to me, I've been playing for 43 years), this song is gonna smoke like a cross between Stevie Ray Vaughan and ZZTOP. In a few days, when we get it nailed, it's going to be a multi-million seller. That's my honest opinion, and if I want to give it, you might want to listen; my favorite Aunt Freda, who passed away in '02 at the age of 84, was an exec for Columbia records when Johnny Cash was covering the Great Speckled Bird and Frank Sinatra was doing clubs, and I grew up at her feet. My Dad was a bodyguard for Rick Nelson when Elvis was playing The Louisiana Hayride. I wrote my first song at 4 years old. This is going to be a good one, y'all, and all glory to the Lord Jesus Christ, because all we do lately is write 'em down and try to learn 'em. Enjoy!

    Nice groove!
I'm glad to see the family playing together. That's something I'd really like to do with my kids one day... I need to have them first though!
