Breakfast with the Mayor is a band from Laguna Niguel, California. The band was formed in early spring of 2006 by Tanner Robison and Dennis Tseng. The two of them began recording during their senior year at Aliso Niguel High School. After they recorded a few songs, they began playing shows. Although Dennis has now moved to Los Angeles to attend school, he continues to go back to practice, record, and play shows with the band. In December of 2007, they added new guitarist Jeremy Uzzo to the band.

Today's Spotlight / salute, brought to you by LSD: (PLEASE READ ALL OF IT. IT'S ABOUT YOU)Wow. I just woke up from only about a couple hours of sleep, and I don't mainline speed anymore, so please excuse my lame wording. Okay, first off I wanna say that you all know that since we are in the dark at the moment, that I 100% share your feelings in multiple "genres", if you will.
Be strong, and know that although this was an absolute grueling competition, and that most of us worked very hard, that our work HAS NOT BEEN IN VAIN. We have all been heard by more people in far away places, that we could have ever hoped for. PLUS (big plus) obviously THIS WILL NOT BE THE LAST COMPETITION here at MN. Lots, lots, LOTS more to come. We also learned soooo much about ourselves and eachother. The collaboration potential is amazing as well. All in all...............FREE PROMO BABY!!!
Ahhhhhhhh, but now comes the absolute most important part of this comment. You ready? Here it comes.....................
LSD's spotlight salutes (A very VERY special one):
If you notice below, there are no links, nor are there names. If you also will notice, you as well as I, in an unselfish quest to explore new artists, probably haven't heard your own music in a while. Or not in depth anyway. In this, it is very EASY to forget what you think about YOURSELF, how you feel about your music, and how great you are, along with your absolute endless potential. Especially after hearing some of there fucking geniuses here at MN. So, the music I want you to focus on today, and the music I am saluting is very simple, and you won't have to go far to hear it either.
Put on headphones, and as loud as you can, listen to yourselves! This is the music that I mostly recommend for you to hear! It is also the music that I can guarantee you'll find to be just what you're looking for. Feel it just like the day you wrote it. The emotions of love, anger, joy, dedication, the person you wrote it for or about, etc, etc, etc....... as the magic of these songs are the ENDLESSNESS of them.
