Flakes- A fun song. Very clever lyric’s. Contrast between chorus and verse is vividly apparent and sews together very well. This is sometimes the hardest part of songwriting. Sometimes we try to complicate things, and don‘t allow things to flow smoothly. As corny as is sounds we forget it just rock an‘ roll. Brick throwing, switch blade, dieing young rock an’ roll. “I close my eye’s and remember you.” Over a genius break down, I found very seductive. This part was marvelous, and a surprise, great change!
