Music Nation is a Music Video Competition for Independent Artists

carbonaut ( kår´ × ban × åt ) n. a traveler of the inner workings of those organic substances which compose life and, subsequently, all following inorganic actions and reactions which afflict said living organisms.


Armed with new music, Carbonaut is re-entering the music scene with intensity. Just listening to their tunes does almost no justice to these musicians. In past shows cymbols have been turned inside out, guitars smashed, and cowbells have been beaten out of existence in no paticular fashion. Chad(Vocals) describes a Carbonaut show as "... a bar fight set to a waltz". Ridiculous. Period.



Carbonaut is a 4-piece band based out of West Chester, PA. Originally starting out in April 2007 as a 5-piece, the band brings an innovative and distinct new sound that captivates its audience.

In October of 2007 their second guitarist, Noah, left to pursue his career as a minister and the band recruited, Scott( Formerly of Burning Artist ), to fill in for them for the duration of the shows that had already been booked through January of 2008. Since Febraury the 4 members of Carbonaut have been vigorously writing new music as essentially a new band. Beginning shows again in April of 2008, a year after their first practices, the band is prepared to unleash the new material to the public.
