Info

Cassidy Lynn has been "wow-ing" audiences all across New York state since the age of nine. Her story began when she was four years old pulling on her mommy's dress asking for voice lessons. The vocal coaches told her mom that she was too young to understand the techniques she would be learning but Cassidy wasn't about to give up. Soon after at the age of five, her father brought her into his studio at Y94FM to record some of her favorite songs from the television show "Barney," one of Cassidy's favorites as a kid! She kept on singing throughout the years and tried some theatre and choral ensembles to get the "hang" of performing and develop her stage presence in several different situations. She was a member of the Syracuse Children's Chorus at the age of 11 and performed at professional theatres across Central New York. Throughout all of this though, she knew that she loved country music and that"s where her true passion was. At the age of 11, she played out in her family's tiny town of Sherburne, NY as she shook in her shoes singing some of Patsy Cline and Patsy Montana's classics. She was a hit with the crowd and landed her first booking for that summer! Each summer she would continue to make more bookings performing with karaoke tracks. Cassidy worked very hard and she, along with her uncle Brian, would try to get her on as many stages as they could. She ended up getting jobs almost every weekend! Also, she landed jobs opening for both Charlie Pride and Trick Pony! However, we soon knew that if this was to continue, she was going to need a band. At the age of 16, Cassidy landed her first job in a local band called "Seven Bridges." She played with some of the finest musicians in the area, two of which held successful careers in Nashville. She spent a year with them and soon learned the ins and outs of what it takes to be in a band, along with the commitment, and dedication that would have to be put in. As a senior in highschool at the time, Cassidy learned to prioritize her schedule as she would have to give up many social events for the sake of her music. It never bothered her. She was born for the stage. After spending a year with "Seven Bridges," Cassidy moved on to form a band called "Skyline" with which she is currently playing. You will see her front the band with her microphone and rhythm guitar! In just one year Cassidy and "Skyline" have landed jobs opening for artists such as Emerson Drive, Bucky Covington, Jason Michael Carroll, and Johnny Cash's own brother Tommy Cash! Cassidy was asked to do several live broadcasts on local radio stations including WSYR and BigFrog 104. Cassidy along with her band have several national recording artists lined up to open for this summer as well and they will be announcing them soon. With the support of "Skyline," and her fan base in New York and surrounding areas, Cassidy Lynn plans to try her luck in Nashville in the near future! She will be moving to Music City in August to attend Belmont University and to follow her heart to a city that never stops singing! Take a listen and let us know what you think!
