The son of a guitar playing Baptist preacher who’s also the son of a guitar playing Baptist preacher, Dave Parks grew up understanding the importance of family values, music and believing in your dreams.
After growing up in Oxford, Kansas—just a bit south of Wichita—and finishing his education, Dave headed to Nashville to pursue his country music dreams.
These days Dave, a happily married father of three, works as a middle school teacher and school bus driver by day. Then by night the other Dave Parks comes to life. That’s when you’ll probably find him down on music row…writing, recording, performing, posing for a photo or autographing a copy of his indy CD “Livin’ an American Dream.”

Hey Dave,Just stopping by to let you know I am putting up an "approved cover song" in the next day or two, keep an eye out for it.. I was working really hard the past few weeks on a song I wrote, and had a freind put some music to my lyrics and melody, but there was a mis-understanding, so now I am back to putting up a cover, but that is ok, hopefully everyone likes it!!
