With hints of punk and funk and even a little soul, DSC bleeds the music that inspired them, without pigeonholing them into a specific category. Some of those influences felt on the EP are The Afghan Whigs, The Pixies, and Jane’s Addiction, just to start a never-ending list of artists with integrity. DSC knows good sounds when they make them, and that is evidence enough after experiencing this EP just one time.
