Hip Hop fans: are you tired of the wack shit thats been getting by as hot music? The same corny nursery rhymes from rappers with no skills and weak ass beats. Well get ready for a change. Introducing Demorne Warren, the first artist of Do For Self Ent. Hitting the scene with his first official album "The World According To D..." Demorne Warren is quickly making a name for himself. As a kid growing up in "South Side Queens" in the 80's D.W. started freestyling with his friends who later became the Lost Boyz Crew. In the late 90's Demorne and 2 partners formed a trio called Exile, who after meeting with DJ Clark Kent were signed as a group to Superman Ent. They recorded a demo but due to creative differences parted ways. D.W. went on to do his thing for dolo and connected with Triple Beam Team's D.J. Rad (producer of "High All the Time" from 50 Cents album Get Rich or Die Trying) and continued to make music. After meeting with producer Migz who introduced Demorne to former D&D Recording Studio manager Paul Twumasi, Felix Nevarez, and Rob Yepez ; Do For Self Ent. was born. With additional production from Eric Wes, Dave Kennedy (producer of "Umi Says" from Mos Def's album Black on Both Sides), Warren Millz, Smith Brothers, Clay, L. and Earl-O Do For Self Ent. has crafted a new and classic sound. Before dropping his debut lp. Demorne Warren has been featured on albums by KrumbSnatcha "Strike Back" Closer to God part 2 as well as an interlude on Da BeatMinerz album Brace for Impact on Rawkus Records. D.W. has also been featured in RapFanatic magazine, BTU-TV and other local NYC public access T.V. shows, as well as the halftime radio show on WNYU on 89.1 FM.
