Jermaine Quick, the CEO of illadelStyles Entertainment in Philadelphia, has been in the entertainment business for over 14 years. In 1994, Jermaine/ “EQ PHILLY” as Hip Hop artist working with the likes of lawyer Simon Rosen of “Simon Sez Records” (Cassidy’s Lawyer). He performed a rap on an underground single called “Give It Up” by Pop Artist “Baby Heather” under Simon Sez Records. After minor success with that project he released and produced his own underground album called “F.A.T.A.L. (Fear Anxiety Tension the Axis of Life) on his own indie label called Supernatural Records. In 1995, “EQ Philly” attended The Art Institute Of Philadelphia for Music And Video Business. Within that short time, he landed an internship at Sigma Sound Studios in Philly. He was able to work around the likes of “The Roots, and Scott Storch”. Scott Storch even recorded some tracks for “EQ” but with no prevail to stardom. With his talents in motion, around 1998, Jermaine recorded several underground songs with Docta Shock of Dark World Entertainment and created a few video’s for his music that were shown on Urban Xpressions video show in Philly. He opened up for such acts as KRS One, Drew Hill, and Ram Squad at the famous “Dances” night club. In 2000, “EQ Philly” a.k.a. Jermaine Quick decided to start his own business. IlladelStyles Recordings. Making tracks for local artist and doing showcases kept his reputation floating in the streets. Today, 2007 has been a fruitful year for “EQ Philly” with the release of his first short film “Rise Like Cream”, and the start of his new company “illadelStyles Entertainment“. In addition, he is currently working on a documentary for Simon “one punch” Carr(Cruiser Weight boxer), and himself. EQ is also the creator of “illadelStyles DVD Street Magazine” which is currently on volume 10. The DVD consist of interviews with various mainstream artist such as “Chris Tucker, MIMS, EVE, Fat Joe, BUSTA RHYMES, Paul Wall, Lil Scrappy, John Cena, Tisha Cambell-Martin, Duan Martin, Joe Fraizer, Freeway, Beanie Sigal, Young Gunz, Remy Ma, Donell Jones, and the list goes on and on. In addition, he gives underground artist a better street buzz. Furthermore, his new single “He’s A Go Getta” from the forth coming CD “Party & Pain” is getting a crazy buzz in the east coast region. EQ is producing all the beats with collaboration from various artists. “EQ” is definitely grinding the streets with the movies, dvd’s, and music. He also has a web tv station called “Turn It Up! TV” on you tube.com. As well as having his own official site www.illadelstyles.com he is currently posted on www.myspace.com/illadelstyles. Jermaine Quick a.k.a. “EQ Philly” is one of the best in the business and plans to bring more fire to the building in the years to come.
