Music Nation is a Music Video Competition for Independent Artists

Like many here I have always been proud of my ability to create art in any form. I started out drawing pictures, mostly of dinosaurs, I loved both the creativity required to manifest an idea from the void as well as the discipline required to physically widdle out the forms. Not much has changed in this regard from my youth to now, save that instead of being intercepted visually my ideas are now recieved sonically. I am still trying to paint a picture for those who's curiousity would bring them to my art. Music, for me, is a form of therapy. It is how I release my inner demons or explain complex feelings or ideas to others. As a form of communication, there is none so universally effective or soulfully stimulating. In all honesty I am not satisfied with everything I have produced on my own because I have failed to capture what it is I am hearing inside and trying to convey. However, I do not count these incomplete samples as failures, rather, they are stepping stones taking me where it is I am going. I have hope for the future, love for the present, and fondness of the past, there is strength, beauty and music to be found in every direction. Like all of you, I also have a belief that if I try hard enough others will recognize the ability I cherish. We all deserve something for the bearing of our souls to the scrutiny of perfect strangers and that is respect. And I do respect each and every one of you for your courage and your ability to expose something so naked and real. Thank you.
