Let me entertain you, . . Watch out! HOLWORKS is a Music Nation Featured Artist. There's music HERE, Southern, yet GLOBAL and there is NO ONE here like me. Deep baritone vocals, word pictures with stories, and some stick in your brain melodies to help propel you through the next few minutes. Have a look at my videos of me "playing" live! Sure to make every musician in the house say, "Huh?" I like it like that! Thanks for listening - Mark Holman - Holworks - Carolina Commons - Splash - ASCAP 2008

As I ended the mumble jumble or very poor sentence structures, run-on-sentence, and know a sentece connects with a verb, and noun..conjuction, conjunction whats your function...and, but, and sometimes or... The comments, and some of the imaginary music artist post comments about the Ghostof NewOrleans its gone with the wind. Riddle me not, dreams or for dreamers, and just like you my friend I have a destiny..........we can mention faith, but I was always taught to walk by faith not by sight...or is it site...as I look at the big picture...Nothing to prove, no greed, and I'm not hungry like others just a simple honest human being..its a logic tool to me my friend as I study, and read between the lines, and see vivid pictures in my mind yet this comment will dissapear, but the Ghost will always appear....I'm hopeing to meet you one day....just see the Genius..so many folks are not witnessing because of no change, and greed..........yes some of us need faith, but luck no..hope for some yes, but knowing...the destiny, and themselves yes.....The prejudices withing us is our biggest problem until than no musician nor imaginary music artist on this site will see the light..
We may push for a month for some cents..and it my continue for a year, but how long.... We think we know each other...for the faith yes...... but...we ask ourselves whom are the real parasites, and who can we trust.... the parasites....hey I know... like the leaches in or should I say parasite which ....on my birth...and I'll never see....my birth again..... beware of the parasites.....
    The Ghostof NewOrleans will rise..........

Hey Holworks....now that thing is winding down I wanted to once again say thank you for all the help...I've now got an incredable recording setup, could not have done it without you...this room full of effects and gagets that I previously used is going up for sale on ebay...I almost through all the instructions...heavy reading...but I think I'm getting the hang of it....I'm waiting for just one more piece
and I'll be able to start recording...by the way I went with the pro-tools set up...seemed to offer more capabilities...Thanks again
    God Bless You....Big Country Mike

Thank you so much for your support. It was close, but we couldnt have done it without you. You are the ones that made this happen for us and we will always support you. This has been a crazy ride for us so far. Now its time to keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best. It could come down to any one of us here at MN. The talent here is among the greatest I have ever seen or heard.
I look forward to spending time with all of you everyday here at MN as this has now become our biggest and most rewarding networking tools out there. Keep in touch and much love and respect to all of you!
    God bless,
    CTTB

Hi Mark -- Thanks for your note. I have really enjoyed listening to your stuff and, with a good chunk of my life spent in NC, took a particular interest in my friends in NC!

I feel somewhat guilty in reaching the top 20 because realistically I know that much depends on the timing of the cut-off, and because all of my friends are such great and deserving musicians. Thank you so much for your support! I think that the best parts of this, more than the end results, are the friendships and mutual admiration that have come about through this process.

the quantum jumping i didn't mind...but winning on just pure luck
of last five minute ascension in most cases is madness ..i honestly thought that there would be statistics involved ! you could have
theoretically got in an hour before the end and have won.....
i'll know better next time...wait till the last day of entry eligibility
and save a lot of time.

3...2...1: SMACK!!! (Only this time...lemme know if interested!)

    MY CATTLE HEAD

    Dilaudad cars on an outstretch
    Of pain and palm
Tomorrow is farther than I can see
    Than I want to run

    The sound of the rain
    Kills me so slowly
And in grammar lies the details
    Morality
    Grows
    In
    Its
Soil: tainted garden of mammoth weeds

    Cold-cocked
    Sucker's reward
    Down for the c-o-u-n-t
    Sirens scream
    The rooftops
    Quiet
    The streets
    LOUD
    And
    Low

    Awaken to intrusive fluorescents
Interstellar prods poke my cattle head
    "Vitamin 'D'" is my friend

It's all in my cattle head
    My cattle head
    Cattle head...

    Kilowatts stashed beneath basement boards
Eras of footage jammed into jars
    Long-eared corn, milk, and sky-babies
All lead to where we are

The gap between hope and actuality
An abyss where 6 is 9,
    A degenerate moon without causality
    Time-after-time, I slip out alive

Legless, legless I crawl to the shore
To meet you on the beach that is no more
All the dolls cry, hard bright eyes still blue
It is I that has waited always for you

These, my eyes bloodshot with clarity
For seeing the highlights ... the tall, steely bars
These, my lips bloodstained with duality
From biting the bullet ... swallowing the stars

    A decadent flight without causality
    Infinity cascades into a jar
When I am dead, and burnt and hungry
How shall I crawl to where you are?

    Kilowatts stashed beneath basement boards
Eras of memory motley and marred
    Long-eared corn, milk, and sky-babies
    Betray a universe of scars...

    Cold-cocked
    Sucker's reward
    Down for the c-o-u-n-t
    Sirens scream
    The rooftops
    Quiet
    The streets
    LOUD
    And
    Low

    Awaken to intrusive fluorescents
Interstellar prods poke my cattle head
    "Vitamin 'D'" is my friend

It's all in my cattle head
    My cattle head
    Cattle head...
