Brown Goddess - Simple Video

Date Added: May 18, 2008

Video Description:

Brown Goddess - Indie - Mark Holman - Holworks - Carolina Commons - ASCAP 2008 Here I am trying out a new video camera by performing Brown Goddess in my living room. Hey, where is all that cool animation, little cosmic trails across the screen, mega shapes swirling and reflecting back in G-Force color? Where are the street urchins flitting like shadows across the angle of the camera? Where are the pictures of empty alleyways lined with old trash cans? Where are the docks where the ships get loaded and the cranes lift cargo? Where is that nightclub in Midtown where she is dancing to the sultry belt of blues? Where is my Brown Goddess? Sorry, it is just me, . . still, the hounds in my neighborhood love this song. They simply tilt their heads back and howl full moon or not. I hope that doesn't happen to you listening but if you want to sing along, well cool. Join the chorus! - Mark

Such a classic sounding voice. Along with the "new sound" of the keyboard, and it's simplicity, I can see this kind of song being timeless. Nicely done Mr. Holman.
