Vizionz Wins Rock City News "Rockies" Award For Best Hard Rock Band!

Newcomer Rock and Roll demons Vizionz from Southern California, who released their debut 3 song demo CD only a few months ago reaching top 5 status on MP3.com in Australia have garnered enough reputation and notoriety in a short period of time to have taken home the 2007 Rock City News "Rockies" Award for Best Hard Rock Band last thursday Dec. 6th at BB Kings in Universal City.

Vizionz has established a reputation in a short period of time as a hard hitting, straight ahead rock and roll outfit with a tight rhythm section and screaming guitars. Their style of keeping it old school while bringing something fresh to the mix has impressed fans so far. Enough so to get fans to vote for them in the awards balloting at Rock City. Their online presence has grown steadily over the last few months with thousands of new fans joining the Vizionz nation.

Says Seedless Records president and band promoter Stu Shulman, "Vizionz is a uniquely interesting and provocative band. Their music is a product of their tough existence and they evoke a certain primal emotion that Rock and Roll is supposed to emit. They are all hard workers in marketing and promoting themselves having won the Rock City News Award with hundreds of votes in a few weeks time plus their charting status on some internet sites prove they have what it takes to attract fans.     So, I was wonderin' the other day: since I been down, broke, broken, despondent, and depressed for over six years now!!!, why have I not written a new blues song. Well I just did, and it is of the sub-category of 'hyperbole blues.' Now, this poor character may not have it as bad as me, or even some of thee, but that's the great thing about the blues. You can hear a story that can't touch your own, but it's still so sad, you know you're not alone. (In your suffering, that is.)

    Here is, "Little Story," and the thing I admire most about the character is that after all he has been through, he still looks for the silver lining. Enjoy!!
