This is the kind of song I would love to play while driving to the beach at midnight in the summer. Free and cool. I love how you drop your guilty notes above the ticking drums and crunchy guitars. Your wet vocals drifting away with the rippled moonlight as the tide pulls away

I have to agree with Love Sex n Death..it sounds like a mix of The Doors & Danzig, which is awesome!! Sometimes the best art is spontaneous. Very deep and sensual.

Yes, I def hear the Doors in this, but just the vocals. Believe it or not, I like this style better because it's heavier, and sorry, but the Doors gets pretty repetitive and boring. I think that they are very over rated. But this, with the heavier guitars, is more along the lines of Danzig. It's got that darkness too. So you know that I have 2 thumbs up with this one. I can imagine what this will evolve into later on. Let me know if or when you do more with this.

I wholeheartedly believe the one take wonder of artistic statement is one of the purest forms of a musician's depth in retrospect ~ as we can replay what they felt at that moment of expression.
Although I've always teased bsh about being a surf guitarist & his waistline ~ I've been a fan of his work from the moment I heard 'surf punk promenade' and I absolutely dig the hell out of this song ~ I just let it loop about 7 times
If that's not a sign of admiration & respect on this site ~ I don't know what is !!!!!!

This is a cool sounding song and your voice slides with the music and reminds me too of the doors... music I grew up with and loved when I was just a "baby"!

I was going to mention the Doors but I see that you have heard that before. I really like this one, very laid back but it totally rocks. You do a great job letting your songs define for themselves the style and sound that they should have, without a formula or a predictable style. I respect that. Also, you have a very melodic soul, and that is one thing that is reflected in all your songs

Another solid Morrison influence emerges here. It is you but you sing the song the way it should be sung. Good mood piece.
