Some say rock & roll is dead. And they're right. Luckily though I also dig on the blues and folk music, anything with a raw country sound, the drunker the player the better. Nothing's as good as playing a good electric freak-out session... but here are my down-home songs. If I don't make it with a rock & roll outfit by the time I'm 30 or so, I can gracefully quit that young man's game and grow old with booze and the blues, playing these songs o' mine. Brought up in Philadelphia while often visiting a more rural part of Penn's Woods, I've come to favor the country. To hell with the city. To hell with money and to hell with contemporary music. Jugband blues. Fiddle playing. Coal mines. That's good for you. Rave is not. I also hate the Clash.
Now that everyone disagrees with me, check out my 100% punk-rock free tunes and step back from the rat race.
