Music Nation is a Music Video Competition for Independent Artists

Well, Ive always loved music, especially of the hip hop genre.
Kinda wierd considering my story though. I was born in a small redneck town, It was Sullivan Indiana. I Lived in a rather close but yet small town, Linton Indiana till my younger days of about 4-5ish. Then my mom had met my dad somehow, who lived in Boston Massachusetts.
I moved there to Everett Massachusetts from my kindergarten year up until about my 5th grade year, being in such a bigger city...made me have a love for rap, because thats what i grew up on.
Well my 5th grade year i moved back, met up with old friends and met new ones too. I occasionally was in choir and occasionally made songs on my comp for years.
Then around 2004 i messed around and made a serious song with my brothers....I was actually halfway good, it was called 'The Booty Cadence'.
Anyways, that was the beginning of my music career.
What sparked it though was one night at a high school football game my junior year.
My cousin Jonathon smith, had met me up there and told me about a drum machine he had bought, and wanted me to come check it out....Well i went out there, and fell in love with it.
He would make some funky beats and we'd rap to em...it caught on, and we would do this all the time. Well the drum machine started it all and then we started usin others beats and finding beats and such. We made several songs that caught on, We fell in love with music even deeper. We formed the duo of BK&J. Now in our Sullivan County, we are the only rap duo. other great achivements we have done is threw the first RAP concert in our town at our park, all in benefit causes too. Were tryin to bring diversity to this sheltered town of around 900. But anyways, im still in BK&J and also am a solo rapper,. Im always doing many different music projects too, collaborations and such. I just want to get my music recognized and get big so i can take care of everyone whose ever taken care of me.
