KANUDE is the musical project of Kingsvile-born, Houston-bred, song maestro Chris Knudson. This self-proclaimed Americronica is a new musical breed that brings together the best elements of Tin-Pan Alley songwriting with 1960s and 70s Southern Rock and Pop. The KANUDE debut record features with Eric Jarvis on drums (Laidlaw, Darrin Love), George Reiff on bass (Ray Wylie Hubbard, Charlie Sexton, Ian Moore), Billy Harvey on guitar (Bob Schneider, Trish Murphy, Steve Poltz), Eric "Roscoe" Ambel on guitar (The Bottle Rockets, Steve Earle), and Rick Thompson (Moses Guest) playing clav and organ. KANUDE has been performing live with The Lawmen: Craig Feazel on guitar and pedal steel, Mark Riddell on bass, and Shane Waller on drums. Lars Goransson (Blondie, The Cardigans) mixed the record in Austin, and Dave McNair (Angelique Kidjo, Bob Schneider) mastered it in NYC. Chris Knudson has lived and worked previously in New York, Los Angeles and Berlin, Germany, recording with producer/musicians Brad Albetta (Sean Lennon, Martha Wainwright) and Theo Mondle (Beck), under the moniker "Val Holler."

Congrats to "Rantings of Eva"!!!I also wanna say congrats to everyone in this comp for getting heard and getting the recognition that you all deserve. I know I at times displayed my emotions in ways that was not cool. But it's all in the growing up department, and we all evolved from this.
Just keep keeping it real, and we will once again (soon I hope), be side by side in our quest for success and being HEARD!

There's a new page on MN called "Collaboration Nation" for the listing of music that are collabs between 2 or more artists on MN.
It's not just there you can be heard, but if you collaborate with other artists in other genres, then your limitations to which contests you can enter just opened up to an endless selection. Use whatever you can to BE HEARD!!!!!

Wow what a night! I've been on a marathon voting session and put myself way down in the rankings :(Seems like I could use a boost here, lol.
With one day left I am continuing to vote and you are on the receiving end.
While I would love to move on to the finals, 499 others also share that desire...since only 20 +4 will achieve that I have to be realistic.
The artists in this competition have so much talent it's hard to choose at times, but know that you are one that I chose.
