Hi folks! My music is a blend of the stuff I grew up with. Dad played everything from Dan Folgelberg to Marty Robbins around the house when I was growing up, so, from an early age I've always been intrigued by those sweet melodies that told an intriguing story. I grew up in Enid, Oklahoma performing in our symphony orchestra, Gaslight Theater and churches. With big dreams and an itch to run and see the world, I left home for New York City after highschool. And, as cliche as it is, didn't know what I had till it was gone. Big cities provide great song writing material, great musical training and the list goes on, but personally, I'd rather be out in the middle of nowhere somewhere in Oklahoma. I've been making my way back to the small town life for a while now, but I've still got the same big dreams. I'm just dreaming, singing, and writing now, right where I belong. I still get the itch to run sometimes, see and experience what this crazy world has to offer, (how else could I keep writing?) but that's what tours and time shares are for! Thanks for listening! -Katie
