Here's a little Q&A with Liz of Love Grenades. Q: Whose career (musically) do you aspire to? A: Blondie, Astrud Gilberto, The Clash, Tom Tom Club, Lilly allen, Dusty Springfield Q: What film or music video (or filmmaker) are you inspired by? A: Jean Luc Godard, Michel Gondry, David Lynch (and Steve Lee, of course! :-P) Q: What do you want your music/visuals to say about you and your music? A: Love Grenades is about communicating the woes of being young and feeling indestructible. The setting is Los Angeles and there is a great sense of pride for LA that is conveyed in the music. Most importantly, Love Grenades was founded on the principles of giving the working class girl a voice.
