I am the Walrus (Rock)
Date Added: May 29, 2008
Description:
Rock / Electro version of the Beatles "I am the Walrus", originally done in 1967. (I re-wrote the music, and some of the lyrics to make this more "me", as I believe that trying to re-produce The Beatles is not possible. Nor is it a good idea.) I AM THE WALRUS (Verse)I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together-see how they run like pigs from a gun see how they fly-I..m crying-sitting on a corn flake waiting for the van to come-corporation tee shirt stupid bloody tuesday man you..ve been a naughty boy you let your hair grow long (Chorus) I am the egg man-I am the egg man- I am the walrus-goo goo g..joob (Verse) Mister city policeman sitting pretty little police men in a row-see how they fly like Lucy in the sky-see how they run-I..m crying (Bridge / solo) I..m crying (Verse) Yellow matter custard dripping from a dead dogs eye-crabalocker fish wife pornographic priestess-boy you..ve been a naughty girl you let your nigga's down (Chorus) Repeat (Bridge 2) Sitting in a tropic garden waiting for the sun-if the sun don..t come you get a tan from standing in the acid rain (Chorus) Repeat (Verse) Expert textpert choking smokers don..t you think the joker laughs at you-see how they smile like pigs in a sty see how they snide-I..m crying-Semolina pilchard climbing up the Eiffel tower-elementary penguin singing Hare Krishna-man you should of seen them kicking Edgar Allen Poe ..Quote the raven, never more.. Actually, what's being overlooked, is just what I said in the description. I did it totally different, because I did not want to do a replica. Besides, even Mr. Lennon said it. The song isn't about anything in particular. As far as inspirations, well........... that was his, his was that, mines is ours, yet we can all still sing it together! lol.

I like this version. However, one thing you overlooked at certain points of the song. One of Lennons inspirations for this song was the pulsing of a policemans siren. More Pulsing. More PUlsing. When you get real stoned on whatever, your heart starts to pulse with powerful music. At least mine does. No wonder i've already had several heart episodes. Kidding.Burning Red Sun says
