Welcome to Lugosi's Morphine dark corner on MusicNation.com Here is a bit about us: We are Lugosi's Morphine from Scranton, Pa. We've been together for over 4 years now. The band consist of long time musicians w/ over 12 years experience for most members in the band. In 2004 Lugosi's Morphine released their first cd "With A Demoral Chaser" and in 2006 they released an e.p. called 5 Shots To The Head. Along w/ a DVD & are currently recording for our next cd. We have several songs recorded and have plenty more to make a great full length cd. Currently, we are looking for a label to release our next cd. We have samples our our new unreleased songs available to an interested label or magazines for review or interviews. We consider ourselves a hard working band, as well as hard working at promoting our band. We are all influenced by different genres which leads to the songs sounding different from one another. Our new unreleased stuff is very catchy stuff. We've played alot of different states and places and always enjoy what we are doing. We've played w/ some great bands along the way... we won't list them all here. But one highlight was one of the female 80's icons Nina Hagen. We also have appeared in a a few magazines located at your local borders. Drop Dead Magazine , Rue Morgue etc. Along w/ movie appearences, soundtrack songs, and compilation cds. We have just finished recording our upcoming cd. Just needs to be re-mixed and re-mastered. 14 New Tracks. We are currently looking for a label to release it for us.     So it's finally come. The last day of this interesting competition. One last time I want to thank any and all who sent a vote my way during this crazy ride. At this point I think pretty much anybody can make a run for the top 20 and I'm sure by the end of the day the right people will be where they should be. Although I don't quite agree with the way this competition was handled, I'm kind of glad it did go down this way. There may or may not have been cheating in the beginning, people can complain that they didn't come up in the head to head player as many times as others, some may even consider it rigged. The way I look at is this: this is a community for musicians to meet, build relationships, and interact with other musicians who share the same passion for music as you do. These competitions are meant to help artists get heard by the whole community and bring other people into the community. For that I am thankful. I have been a part of many online music sites where artists put up their music, look for reviews, acceptance, and fame, basically whatever they can get. This is the only place where I actually felt like part of a community. I know it may seem like i'm just beating a dead horse saying how much I love you guys night after night now, but I just want to make sure the community knows that after this competition is all said and done I will still be here and I will still be showing love to all of my friends that I can honestly say are a part of my life now, and I have Music Nation to thank for it. Sorry i'm taking up so much space in your comment box haha i'll shutup now. Anyway, i'll end with saying its been a pleasure, and I can't wait to see how this turns out!

    I just want to thank all of my friends for their constant support and love throughout the past few months. I'm so glad I joined this site and am so thankful for all of the wonderful people i've met here. I wanted to take a second to wish everyone the best of luck in this last week of the Spin Pursuit and tell everyone who makes the finals not to take it for granted. There are 476 people who would kill for the spot you will have and I hope you know how talented and loved you are to be able to make it there. For those who don't win or make the finals, never give up. I know i won't. Cherish the relationships you've developed throughout this ride and consider yourself lucky to have done so. There will be other opportunities for you. As for the winner, I will be behind you 100% and wish you the best throughout your career as I will be following it. I truly love everyone that I have been blessed to meet on this site and you are all very dear to me. So once again, good luck, God bless, and i hope we have a great finish to this thing!
