Music greatly influenced by surroundings, and many songs depict events with a humorous edge.
Other songs explore the path of growing up, expectations of life, experienced achievements or failures in love, life and health.

Now that is great NEWS Big Mike. I am just passing along what was told to me and what I read on this site. I like your songs so I want to listen when you have them the way you like them. I am sure you will notice if you haven't already some differences? It is a good thing you are used to the recording process. Before Oct 2007 I had no clue. I still do not really but my friends do so if I ask right they help me. Good luck and God Bless Mike. Let me know when you post your first song! I have some new videos up with me in my living room so definitely not Earth shattering graphics or production if you feel like listening. Hi Mike - First thing you need is a good computer devoted to music. Apple or IBM it matters not. The software will be different for either that you choose though. I am using IBM with Internet Exploerer as my browser. You'll need miminum 2 gigs of RAM and good storage capacity 80 gigs or better unless you are storing things on an external drive. I do that once I feel the song is as good as I can get it. You'll need software too. The Gold Standard is Pro Tools. You load this software onto your computer. It lets you record track by track. To plug your guitar in or mic your amps or to record in general, you'll need what is called an interface. I use M-1 Audio but there are several different kinds. This equipment looks like a box with all sorts of plug in things on the front. You simply plug into the interface, click on record for track one and record your voice or guitar or any other instrument. Since this is all digital recording, the clarity will be much different that what you are used to. I'd suggest you google Pro Tools, Cubase, Garage band, and Cakewalk to read up on this stuff.I hope it helps! A friend in NC!
