PRINCE TUNES INTO RADIOHEAD
Mon, Apr 28, 2008, 5:52 PMThe most anticipated set from last weekend's loaded Coachella fest in Indio, California, was the one from his purpleness: The Artist Currently Known As Prince.
By all accounts he delivered a thrilling set of well-known Prince cuts (Cream, Little Red Corvette) and deep album tracks, while also collaborating with old pals Morris Day and Sheila E., and tackling covers by the Beatles and Sarah McLachlan.
One other cover might classify more as an interpretation: Radiohead's "Creep." Apparently Prince was inspired to add the song to the setlist by his obsessions with Guitar Hero III, on which "Creep" is his favorite track.
Pause for a minute and picture Prince playing Guitar Hero. I do NOT got next.
In any case, judging by the gasps and oh my dear Gods heard in the festival crowd, this went over quite well. A fan captured this clip below.

Here it is the ONE HIT Wonder Radiohead. I hear that Mark Holman guy from Holworks has at least three hits on his main page in an album called Carolina Commons. Maybe we should walk the Commons a bit to see if we can hear the Harbor Horn, . . .http://musicnation.com/music/holworks/playlist/211041
