(MOST OF) LED ZEPPELIN JOINS FOO FIGHTERS

Last month, the Foo Fighters invited Canadian legends Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson of Rush to join them during a Toronto concert. The combined band played Rush's "YYZ" while Foos drummer Taylor Hawkins filled the entire arena with his mile-wide grin.

The Foos must have enjoyed the experience because last week at London's Wembley Stadium they kicked up a notch.

Make that several notches.

Yes, that's Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones (Robert Plant is busy touring the states with Alison Kraus) joining the Foos for an encore of "Ramble On" and "Rock and Roll."

As Dave Grohl announced afterward to the enormous London crowd: "Welcome to the greatest day of my life!"

Could this become a trend? Who's next to become honorary Foos for a song or two? McCartney and Starr? Jagger and Richards? Captain and Tennille?
