FALL OUT BOY LOOKS TO ELECTION DAY

Political junkies aren't the only ones with Nov. 4 circled on their calendars. The day that the nation chooses between Barack Obama and John McCain will also be the day that Fall Out Boy fans can celebrate the group's fifth LP, titled, a bit pretentiously, Folie a Deux.

But Fall Out faithful don't have to wait the entire rest of the election season to get a taste of the Frenchified album. The band yesterday released an online mixtape called "Welcome to the New Administration," which features five demos of songs that will appear all polished-up on the final record. This includes the first single from the effort, "I Don't Care," which also hits radio (in album form) on Sep. 15.

The band will also begin on Oct. 13 a tour in early support of Folie a Duex in -- what's this? Paris! Mais oui!
