RADIOHEAD OFFERS A ROUND TWO WITH RECKON...
Radiohead is at it again. After the huge success of their last contest to remix the song, “Nude,” they’ve decided to try it with another In Rainbows fan favorite. The lucky pick this time is the song “Reckoner,” and all the stems needed are available via the iTunes store. Radiohead explained on their site that they are hosting this in order to, “coincide with asking radio stations to think about playing Reckoner.” Furthermore, they encouragingly advised, “Sample, cut, take the sounds, whatever. Play it in a club. Or your room. Then if you want you can upload your finished mixes to www.radioheadremix.com and be judged by everyone else. You can create a widget allowing votes from your own site, Facebook or MySpace to be sent through too.” So what are you waiting for, remixers? Hop to it!
