Been playing since Summer 2002. Never got lessons, and unfortunately never "practiced," so I've sort of peaked at my ability until I start to take it more seriously, but I don't intend to be a professional musician anyway. Just playing for fun. I'm currently writing an instrumental rock/metal opera. I've posted some of the songs that I've written out fully. It's a basic story about a foretold hero destined to end an evil tyrannical empire. Except it's got a bit of a modern twist. The empire is the Mississippi State University Architecture program, the hero is an architecture student, and of course the villians are the architecture staff. Basically, they plot to kill him before he figures out who he really is. But they leave him for dead instead of actually kill him. Big mistake. He finds out who he is, trains, comes back, and kills them all and ends their evil reign. I like the story enough, but I'm pretty pleased with the music so far. I don't have any drums or bass. I also have very limited keyboard ability, so the tracks may sound a little dull, but i did the best i could to really let the guitars make the song. Please give them a listen and let me know what you think.
