I'm an aural chemist. If you dig it, vote! Preferably Everyday.

A little About Me:
I might've invented the term "DIY". I create loads of sounds in my basement studio and in turn play loads of gigs to promote those sounds out and about in the real world. I'm a multi-instrumentalist, tracking all of the instruments on my recordings, as well as recording them by myself, and of course lending the vocals to complete the cake. I currently live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I've got a lot of imaginary friends to help me along the way.

I'm on MySpace, and Facebook. Also on iTunes, CDBaby, and a few other places. Keep an ear to the ground, I'm out there somewhere.

If you like what you hear here, please, send me a message, become my e-friend. Have a lovely day.

Music is Living in Motion !

By conceptual design I've successfully incorporated an obscure semi-random artificially intelligent element of transitional potential throughout every applicable aspect of my artistic creativity.

I am providing this optimal psychological communication, & therefore developing an ideal situational environment that will facilitate the sustained future transformational possibilities in relation to all of my musical compositions.

This is truly a new revelation!

I do this in order to allow the music to forever move forward , to refresh, to remain in transition, in perpetual motion, to organically grow, to become something that's always different from what it just was, to evolve beyond what it is now & to constantly change into what it eventually inevitably might someday become.

I am bringing the music to life !!!!!

    If I Were MARCSTEADMAN

    [TEVYE]
"Dear God, you made many, many poor people.
I realize, of course, that it's no shame to be poor.
But it's no great honor either!
So, what would have been so terrible if I had a small fortune?"

    If I were MARCSTEADMAN,
Ya ha deedle deedle, bubba bubba deedle deedle dum.
All day long I'd biddy biddy bum.
If I were a wealthy man.
I wouldn't have to work hard.
Ya ha deedle deedle, bubba bubba deedle deedle dum.
If I were a biddy biddy rich,
    Yidle-diddle-didle-didle man.

I'd build a big tall house with rooms by the dozen,
Right in the middle of the town.
A fine tin roof with real wooden floors below.
There would be one long staircase just going up,
And one even longer coming down,
And one more leading nowhere, just for show.

I'd fill my yard with chicks and turkeys and geese and ducks
For the town to see and hear.
(Insert)Squawking just as noisily as they can. (End Insert)
And each loud "cheep" and "swaqwk" and "honk" and "quack"
Would land like a trumpet on the ear,
As if to say "Here lives MARCSTEADMAN."

    If I were MARCSTEADMAN,
Ya ha deedle deedle, bubba bubba deedle deedle dum.
All day long I'd biddy biddy bum.
If I were a wealthy man.
I wouldn't have to work hard.
Ya ha deedle deedle, bubba bubba deedle deedle dum.
If I were a biddy biddy rich,
    Yidle-diddle-didle-didle man.

I see my wife, my Golde, looking like MARCSTEADMANn's wife
    With a proper double-chin.
Supervising meals to her heart's delight.
I see her putting on airs and strutting like a peacock.
Oy, what a happy mood she's in.
Screaming at the servants, day and night.

The most important men in town would come to fawn on me!
They would ask me to advise them,
    Like a Solomon the Wise.
    "If you please, Reb Tevye..."
    "Pardon me, Reb Tevye..."
Posing problems that would cross a rabbi's eyes!
And it won't make one bit of difference if i answer right or wrong.
When you're rich, they think you really know!

If I were rich, I'd have the time that I lack
To sit in the synagogue and pray.
And maybe have a seat by the Eastern wall.
And I'd discuss the holy books with the learned men, several hours every day.
That would be the sweetest thing of all.

    (Delete)If I were a biddy biddy rich,
    Yidle-diddle-didle-didle man. (End Delete)
(Insert) Lord who mad ethe lion and the lamb,
You decreed I should be what I am.
Would it spoil some vast eternal plan?
If I were MARCSTEADMAN. (End Insert, End Song)

Pat...here is a new collaboration between myself and Robert Tiernan that you might find interesting. It is an instrumental duet with myself on acoustic guitar and Robert playing a one of a kind instrument he built from spare parts called a Sit-Jo (part Banjo and Sitar) called "Monkeys Fly". I think you will enjoy it!

    Congrats to "Rantings of Eva"!!!

I also wanna say congrats to everyone in this comp for getting heard and getting the recognition that you all deserve. I know I at times displayed my emotions in ways that was not cool. But it's all in the growing up department, and we all evolved from this.

Just keep keeping it real, and we will once again (soon I hope), be side by side in our quest for success and being HEARD!

Here's another idea for being heard!

There's a new page on MN called "Collaboration Nation" for the listing of music that are collabs between 2 or more artists on MN.
It's not just there you can be heard, but if you collaborate with other artists in other genres, then your limitations to which contests you can enter just opened up to an endless selection. Use whatever you can to BE HEARD!!!!!
    http://musicnation.com/music/mncollabs

I love you all to DEATH!
