Come What May

Date Added: October 24, 2007

MP3 Description:

Somewhere deep within My pride will soon begin To over-run the things Your plan was gonna bring In the waiting room, Everything is gloom and doom No stopping till they lock me down As the planet spins, Where do I begin Living up to a self made crown So come what may, On this day here I lay in my place (Everything happens for a reason) So I now pray, that my fate illustrates all your grace (I hope this only lasts for a season) I pick up my debris So everyone can see The lack of dignity That keeps imprisoning I'm not affraid to leave My heart is on my sleave Cutting away all extra weight There is some truth in this I'm now a catalyst Against the very things that I've grown to hate. Bitter bitter flesh of the old man Swimming in a river held back by your hand Into the undertow, I'm gonna watch him flow Down....drown....now here we go!

Awesome from start to finish. The guitar and bass play off each other quite nicely. 'Come what May' ROCKS!!! and I hope it gets lots of radio play.

when i saw the title, i was all expecting a cover of the moulin rouge song, but after my initial disappointment at not hearing greg sing musical tunes ;) i discovered a very cool song. i like how the melody changes between the verse, pre-chorus, and chorus. the instrumentation seems less dense than the other tracks, even though i sense a lot of layers, and it works very well. accentuates the bass and the cymbals. very nice message in the lyrics as well!
