Music Nation is a Music Video Competition for Independent Artists

I'm happy to be a part of this contest, but I'd like to, for a moment, address to all the other artists and fans, my feelings on the subject of vote-biased competitions. I have watched many of the video submissions and enjoyed some of the music. However, I have most definitely not enjoyed all of the music. Surprisingly, I find some of the top contenders quite amateur and embarrassingly bad. Conversely, some of the entries, way down the list and with very few votes have got crazy talent! So what's my point? Some people have more friends than others who can stuff the voter ballots for their pals... That has no bearing on whether or not their music is great! The fact is if you're really good, you probably don't have as many friends because you were busy taking the time to become remarkable. So don't trip! -pete hopkins out! holla!
