"The Plan" gives me the sense of triumph for some reason. Listened to the lyric's in depth and simply fell in love with them. Abandoning everything for your music is usually all it takes to take the music somewhere. Getting the guts to do it is the trick.
To be honest I'm getting really sick of these modern rock bands that have a few stereotypical trade marks of punk in their songs. So at first listen you start to think this is punk, and your tricked to tapping' your foot. But the more you listen, the more you realize that it's just some corporate shit. I don't want to sound like a pompous Another thing I can't stand is when someone hates a band when they get successful. They say "They sold out." This is bull shit. I always hope for the best for a person who decides they want to make music. But with that said, most corporate rock is neither honest or innovative. And to try to make a punk band out of something that's not honest, is an insult to every person who's ever worn a Mohawk. Geeze I went somewhere there. Sorry, I should be talking about your song. It was the lyrics that took me to these thoughts. You guys are just straight ahead bouncy palm muted punk. I love it. The forced vocals the power chords. What else can I say... Awesome. cheers, "Da" Jester
