In early 2002 Bassist Mike Nealis coaxed his former Martian Soul Frontman/Guitarist John Adams out of an early retirement, all they needed now was the perfect Drummer. Enter former Modern Ruins timekeeper and longtime friend Chris Phillips. "Chris Phillips had always been in our eyes, The Golden Chalice of Drummers." Says Mike Nealis of John and Mikes coveted bandmate. Now they were ready for what ever came their way!! In early 2003 they set out as a 4 piece under the "what was meant to be temporary moniker , Clone". " That was a fun time for us!" says axeman John Adams. " We were a Starleigh cover band getting our chops down, playing every club in town!! "We got to open for lots of great acts including SR-71 and Funny Money! We ended our summer by kicking ass to a packed house at Seacrets in Ocean City Maryland!!" Then in 2006 things got a little stale and there was lots of frustration. Vocalist /guitarist Jon Mickey was unhappy and decided to leave the past behind and Clean the Slate!! Out of the ashes, Private Nation was born!! With the rebirth was a new found optimism by all 3 members and a dedication to writing songs that will get you hooked!! "I am excited about the album in a good way!!" Says Drummer Chris Phillips of the bands forthcoming self titled debut. Private Nation has endured all the ups and downs that come with the music business, but look for them to break out in a big way in 2007!!! Please visit us at :www.myspace.com/privatenationmusic

    Need A Video?
I may be able to help. I can film, edit, direct if needed, and break the whole thing down to dvd and quicktime format for $500 flat. The only catch is, the money must be up front. Holla at me if you are interested. 410 562 6590 Paul
