Robot dance music & sad robot lullabies, made by robots...for robots. We attempt to always try and find something a little off the beaten path to give to you, something sincere yet playful... innovative and moving...We have fun when creating these sounds. We simply make music, and hope you enjoy it. Recorder began in 2004 as a solo project started by robbo, under the alias "Birthday Boy". In Winter 2006 Recorder was introduced & albums were created. Recorder signed with Switzerland based Minuta Records in Fall of 2006. Fall of 2007 brought with it cold, magic, & the rest of the robots...Recorder now consists of Robbo (Production / Synth), Jeff Whitlatch (Synth / Vocoder), & Lynn Robertson (Vocals). This hybrid makes for an unbelievable live performance, more touching melodies, and intensified brain wave manipulation! ---------------------------- ---------------------------- ---------------------------- What the others say: Chris Vrenna (Tweaker) Original member of Nine Inch Nails , Marylin Manson, Gnarls Barkley. "You have a very well thought out act going here. The cheeky robot costumes, vocoders, theramins...it all works together great. Musically it sounded great and you handled two difficult instruments (vocoders and the theramin) very well. Your characters and presentation reminds me a little of The Flaming Lips meets Daft Punk, which is a huge compliment."

Music is Living in Motion !By conceptual design I've successfully incorporated an obscure semi-random artificially intelligent element of transitional potential throughout every applicable aspect of my artistic creativity. I am providing this optimal psychological communication, & therefore developing an ideal situational environment that will facilitate the sustained future transformational possibilities in relation to all of my musical compositions. This is truly a new revelation! I do this in order to allow the music to forever move forward , to refresh, to remain in transition, in perpetual motion, to organically grow, to become something that's always different from what it just was, to evolve beyond what it is now & to constantly change into what it eventually inevitably might someday become. I am bringing the music to life !!!!! http://www.cdfreedom.com/artists/thealtruisticmessiahbenvandagriff/catalog/theceoofrockroll.1/

Congrats to "Rantings of Eva"!!!I also wanna say congrats to everyone in this comp for getting heard and getting the recognition that you all deserve. I know I at times displayed my emotions in ways that was not cool. But it's all in the growing up department, and we all evolved from this. Just keep keeping it real, and we will once again (soon I hope), be side by side in our quest for success and being HEARD! Here's another idea for being heard! There's a new page on MN called "Collaboration Nation" for the listing of music that are collabs between 2 or more artists on MN. It's not just there you can be heard, but if you collaborate with other artists in other genres, then your limitations to which contests you can enter just opened up to an endless selection. Use whatever you can to BE HEARD!!!!! http://musicnation.com/music/mncollabs I love you all to DEATH! LSD
