Happiness by Richard Bernstein/lead guitars by Ricky Sparks

Date Added: May 13, 2008

MP3 Description:

This song was composed and performed by Richard Bernstein, I added the lead guitars to Richard's already-finished MP3. This is collaboration number 5 with the illustrious Mr Bernstein and I really enjoyed this one for the differences. Number 6 to follow...

All I can say is, that I can only wish to have this type of talent and ability. I am a fan of really heavy music, like metal / hard rock. But the way that you 2 play, makes this some of the heaviest stuff that I've heard. Truly brilliant.

Cakewalk is a good thing. Use it all the time. Your guitar work, in general, is awesome.

In the interest of proper attribution, please let me hasten to point out that this song was written, composed, and performed by The Richard Bernstein Collection, who also provided the beautiful cover art.

I merely added the lead guitars to Richard's already-finished MP3 through the magic of Cakewalk.

Sweet sounds and mellow vibe permeate this song. You got it going on Richard and Ricky, the Double R's. I agree with Robert that you have a special talent for this Ricky but I already knew that way back when, . . .cool.

Wow Ricky, very very cool guitar work over such a nice track. You guys sound so great together. Love it man.

Saw your requested comments so here I am. (I agree about length of Fear. It's hard to pull off a live stage show simulation all by yourself. Studio ver will be about 5:00 and change).

But enough about that. This is great. Love the intro on guitar. Vocals seem to get tighter every new track. I would really like to see a "jazz-type" CD of you two on the market. That cascading guitar sound in places is reminiscent of Lindsey Buckingham and Fleetwood Mac-who is in my top six. Gilmour, Townshend, Buckingham, Walsh, Knopfler, Van Halen. 7th of course, Ricky Sparks!!! "Oh yeah, the vocal on "really doesn't matter..." is stellar.

You guys keep it up. I think we are all individual artists and that our careers should continue in our individual efforts; however, collabs add spice to the curried shrimp.
