Guitar Player Mag. Review of RRT

Robert Tiernan Crescent City California "Cold Fusion (Chocolate Milk)."

"Playing against a vibes track that's almost as relentless as his supersonic lead lines and distorted chordal washes, Tiernan attacks this composition as if he was Esquivel on a steroids-and-LSD cocktail. It's like chasing crack-crazed rabbits on a carousel, but it's also sensational-IF you can take it."

Please remember I said it was a MICRO review. Nothing to get TOO excited about, but it is Guitar Player Mag. For a person like me who always hides away in the shadows (as any respectful musician would) it's pretty cool.

If I like it, it's because it's not something someone would soon forget, and it should generate interest (morbid curiosity?) if they were to read it.

If I don't like it, it's because they got the drugs all wrong. It was mescaline, sativa and Quaaludes...

By the way, Rick Wiengarten - vibraphone, Bruce Crisman - drums, Tom S. - bass, me on guitar = the Good Vibes Quartet. I'm going to put more of our music up here as soon as I can.

Thanks for your comments and especially your music, RRT
