Thank you Victoria and Desmond for listening and leaving your comments... I'm afraid I'm the "creative team" with just instinct and no training at all to record my own music at home, with only again, me as the band. A one person team so far, so your professional ears will pick up everything. From where I stand I am extremely proud of what I have accomplished on my own. I currently don't have videos which I now know is a real disadvantage for this Contest but intially the requirements to enter the Contest allowed audio which gave the impression that video and audio could compete on an equal playing ground. If I had known video was really the requirement I would not have submitted my audio only entry.GARY SPARKS says

Good song! Interesting smokey womanly voice... but so out of tune in many places and sloppy riffs. For a studio recording where one can easily fix things... someone needs to have better ears in this creative team... especially when the artist doesn't know better. Where is the video? I just saw a photo... not good.~ The Altruistic Messiah ~ a.k.a. ~ Ben Vandagriff says

This song is so special to me and really expresses the love I have for my home so I couldn't help having this song be the name of my very first official CD release "NorthEast Girl". And I have been a long time devoted fan of our Boston Red Sox and suffered through the years when the Sox would take us to the brink of glory only to fall short every time... In the end, we found glory in the amazing year of 2004. Number 8, Carl Yastremski, Yaz as we called him, was my hero and I cried when he played his last game with the Sox in 1983. He ran around the park touching as many out stretched hands as he could... and I just weeped... I so hope he hears this song somehow and how much all of New England remembers our boys of the past and how much we miss them... I miss him...
