From the album Welcome Home. This song started out as a lullaby for my son. After my father passed away I decided to finish the song and pursue my dream of recording an album that I would dedicate to my parents. Robert and Dolores worked feverishly to raise nine kids and put aside all their dreams to do so. I will never be able to repay them for the effort they put forth, but as God as my witness, I am going to keep trying. Welcome home is a tribute for all those who work hard and come full circle in life. A belief that home is where the heart is and to allow those you love to love you in return.

I listened to Welcome Home all the way through just now. It is as good as anything I have ever heard come out of Nashville, and I lived there for ten years and had a publishing co. on the row.
