Shhh is a five piece pop outfit emerging from the state of Kansas. Since a culmination of several other midwest projects, Shhh formed in the fall of 2005 and promptly set about recording their first full length effort. The resulting LP, "Leviathan" was released independently in April 2006. The album sound, as described by Lawrence.com, "packs oodles of glockenspiel-tinted catchiness and sunny optimism whilst chumming the oceans of spacey guitar effects and vintage drum machines." Since that time the band has been refining their sound through a series of live shows and an assortment of new tunes. After a summer tour, Shhh plans to move their efforts to Chicago where they will head into the studio to start the seminal stages of their next album.
