It seems like just yesterday when I was a 16 year old teenager, holding the axe for the very first time. Watching my fingers bleed from the hours of practice. Sacrificing meals just to play for an hour longer. No joke! Now 26, and the instrument still takes me. Some call me obsessive, some call me crazy. This is Strings Of Chaos.

I just want to thank all of my friends for their constant support and love throughout the past few months. I'm so glad I joined this site and am so thankful for all of the wonderful people i've met here. I wanted to take a second to wish everyone the best of luck in this last week of the Spin Pursuit and tell everyone who makes the finals not to take it for granted. There are 476 people who would kill for the spot you will have and I hope you know how talented and loved you are to be able to make it there. For those who don't win or make the finals, never give up. I know i won't. Cherish the relationships you've developed throughout this ride and consider yourself lucky to have done so. This has been one of the best experiences we have had in the thirteen years we've played together (multiple bands). This is one of the best communities of any kind on the internet. We are so appreciative of all the support and love you all have shown us. Our hope is that the best talent takes this contest. That will be a tough one considering the wealth of talent and styles represented here.Truly we are just happy to be a part of the community, the rest has been icing on the cake. And believe us, rank at this stage don't mean a thing. Our friendships here mean more to us than what has passed and what may come. With that, we wish you all the best of luck, we are pulling for everyone. It's going to be hard to vote for one act over the another, so we expect that we'll be pushing the 'equal' button more often than not. We were fortunate to have a live interview on a local radio station Friday night. We sent a big shout out to our MusicNation family. And told the radio audience how great you all are. Of course we told them to vote for us(we aren't stupid!), but we did mention that there is a lot of great music on this site. So who knows, maybe some of us will get some new fans.
