The indie rock outfit Sink to See began with two art school students, Jason Napier (vocals, guitar) and Dony West (vocals, guitar), who met in Columbus, OH. In January 2001, the duo headed to California and met bass player Shawn Bathe. Soon after, percussionist Tariq Mills joined the lineup and rounded out the group. Sink to See has since made appearances on Los Angeles radio station KROQ and MTV, as well as opening for bands such as IMA Robot, the Violent Femmes, and Sugarcult.     I also wanna say congrats to everyone in this comp for getting heard and getting the recognition that you all deserve. I know I at times displayed my emotions in ways that was not cool. But it's all in the growing up department, and we all evolved from this. Just keep keeping it real, and we will once again (soon I hope), be side by side in our quest for success and being HEARD! Here's another idea for being heard! There's a new page on MN called "Collaboration Nation" for the listing of music that are collabs between 2 or more artists on MN. It's not just there you can be heard, but if you collaborate with other artists in other genres, then your limitations to which contests you can enter just opened up to an endless selection.
