The life you live 11/18/2008 12:21 PM
it's not what you get,
but what you give,
that makes worthwhile
the life you live.
the transient thrill of receiving is gone,
while the joy of giving goes on and on...
for when you have performed a kindly deed,
healed a hurt or supplied a need,
deep in ur heart there begins to glow
warmth of gladness it's good to know.
you love the world,
it loves you too,
you smile and it smiles right back at you....
and you say to yourself,
it's good to live,
but better still, when
you have learned to live

Thoughts dictate attitude. It is important to... 11/15/2008 08:05 PM
To put away aimlessness and weakness, and to begin to think with purpose, is to enter the ranks of those strong ones who only recognize failure as one of the pathways to attainment; who make all conditions serve them, and who think strongly, attempt fearlessly, and accomplish masterfully.
Willingness is essential in any initiation or in making a dream come true. I can t often means I won t. You can change I won t to I will with willpower.
For all your days be prepared, and meet them ever alike. When you are the anvil, bear -- when you are the hammer, strike!
Whether you're winning or losing, it is important to always be yourself. You can't change because of the circumstances around you.
Never seem wiser, nor more learned, than the people you are with. Wear your learning, like your watch, in a private pocket: and do not pull it out and strike it; merely to show that you have one.
Great changes may not happen right away, but with little effort even the most difficult ones become easy.
A leader is someone who helps improve the lives of other people or improve the system they live under.
Leadership is not magnetic personality--that can just as well be a glib tongue. It is not making friends and influencing people --that is flattery.
Leadership is lifting a person's vision to higher sights, the raising of a person's performance to a higher standard, the building of a personality beyond its normal limitations
Ability hits the mark where presumption overshoots and diffidence falls short.
Zeal is a volcano, the peak of which the grass of indecisiveness
does not grow.
Enthusiasm is the yeast that makes your hopes shine to the stars. Enthusiasm is the sparkle in your eyes, the swing in your gait, the grip of your hand, the irresistible surge of will and energy to execute your ideas.
Enthusiasm created from the heart is the spirit of the matter.
It ignites your whole system so there's no drag, no resistance, no thoughts like "Do I have to?" coming from the head to sabotage the power of your surrender.
“People who are unable to motivate themselves must be content with mediocrity, no matter how impressive their other talents.
Work and self-esteem affect each other and determine our level of fulfillment in life.
With a higher sense of personal worth we are more likely to find and engage ourselves in work that gives us an opportunity to express our unique potential, talent and skills.
A low sense of self-worth may push us towards work that mires us further in low
"Those who conquer others have power ... but those who conquer themselves know the way.
The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand.
Reasoning draws a conclusion, but does not make the conclusion certain, unless the mind discovers it by the path of experience.
If we wish to understand the ultimate meaning of a painting, we should approach the artist who painted it.
Likewise,if we want to understand the purpose of our life,we should approach GOD who created us.
Ideas, like leaves, can wither and fall, but in doing so, become the mulch in which new ideas grow

GoD Said 10/21/2008 12:33 AM
If you never felt pain,
then how would you know that I'm a Healer?
If you never went through
difficulties, How would you know that I'm a Deliverer?
If you never had a trial,
How could you call yourself an overcomer?
If you never felt sadness,
How would you know that I'm a Comforter?
If you never made a mistake,
How would you know that I'm forgiving?
If you knew all, How would
you know that I will answer your questions?
If you never were in
trouble, How would you know that I will come to your rescue?
If you never were broken,
Then how would you know that I can make you whole?
If you never had a problem,
How would you know that I can solve them?
If you never had any suffering,
Then how would you know what Jesus went through?
If you never went through
the fire, Then how would you become pure?
If I gave you all things,
How would you appreciate them?
If I never corrected you,
How would you know that I love you?
If you had all power,
Then how would you learn to depend on Me?
If your life was perfect,
Then what would you need Me for?
