Music Nation is a Music Video Competition for Independent Artists

Soundscape Soul is the New York City Music Scene’s best kept secret. They’ve performed at several venues including The Knitting Factory, The Cutting Room, Kennys Castaways, and The Triad Theater. The duo’s song Code Red is featured on a music compilation album entitled Music Freedom Vol. 2. Soundscape Soul features the talents of songwriters Josh Springer and Matt Aronson. Soundscape Soul was created in 2004 when Springer and Aronson met while working at a summer camp. They became friends immediately. After realizing their talents in music, they were naturally led to collaborating. The chemistry was undeniable. Springer and Aronson eventually met up in Pittsburgh, PA., writing and recording 5 songs in 4 days which have become staples of their live shows and favorites with their listeners. Utilizing the digital world, they recorded more songs via the internet and in March of 2006, they recorded at J Soul Studios with the result being their much anticipated first Album entitled, Within State Lines. The Soundscape Soul live experience offers charismatic charm, humor, improvisation and earthy, natural harmonies. Springer and Aronson create a crowd-interactive atmosphere which most have deemed as rare in today’s music world.
