when listening to this, i picture a person driving down a road, speeding up as he realizes he is getting closer to his destination, and he can't help himself, because he's so excited. when he finally reaches the end, he's content and finally relaxes. the instrumentation building as the song progresses and then subsiding at the end is perfectly done!
Yes very cool. Allot of electronic music finds it way in to the region of cumbersome complexity. And lengthy pieces to convey a message. This song is a prototype. A very short diddy. Complex but not at all cumbersome. The separate elements articulated well. And it sparks emotion, witch is what all great music's mission is to do. The emotions it propelled in me are at first excitement, like the feeling of driving to an amusement park. The anticipation of the roller coasters and corn dogs. Then when the fuzz synth came in with this awesome melody it gave me the feeling of comfort and that feeling of chillin' with friends. When in a room with those you really love, it can be completely quiet but great things are still being said, just not with the mouths. The other peoples presence and the knowledge you have of one another say enough.
