Springs Eternal began in the summer of 2006. From the ashes of ‘Samwise’, Mickey was driven to create a new band and a new sound. Out of the blue he decided to give an old high school buddy, Brian(of Almost Steve),a call. Almost immediately they started jamming and began formulating a plan to assemble the rest of the band. Not too later JC Ward of ‘Everlasting Earle’ stepped in on bass. As a three piece, ‘Unsatisfied’ began writing. Through Mike and Mickey’s mutual friend, Michael was added to the band, finalizing the lineup...or so they thought. Beginning in 2007, the band found themselves without a drummer. Mickey decided to contact Eric Vaughn, the former drummer of ‘Samwise’. As Eric was a great asset to the band, his geographical location (Charleston, SC) was weighing heavy on the progression of the band. Enter Marty Higman, and old friend of JC. Well, the rest is (as they say) history. The group decided to change the name, feeling that ‘Unsatisfied’ had too much of a negative connotation. Drawing their name (Springs Eternal) from Alexander Pope's “An Essay on Man”, the four piece strives to write hard hitting melodic rock with influences ranging across the spectrum. Springs Eternal will explode onto the music scene in 2007
