Svelte was formed by two ex-Supergroove members, Tim Stewart and Ben Sciascia with drummer Jamie Woolright - son of legendary New Zealand bass player, Paul Woolright. The three piece have spent the last year writing, rehearsing and playing shows in Auckland and Wellington. The band performed live on National Radio's ‘Home Grown’, 95bfm's 'Fancy New Band' and have played with bands such as The Exponents, Die! Die! Die!, The Bads and OdESSA. www.svelte.net.nz
